Women's Football has been heightened with much respect, effort, talents, and importance over these past few years. There have been different individuals, female genders specifically of all ages, Showcasing their skills in football and giving out their best to make it in the football fraternity.
Some women have considered it their lifetime profession due to the passion they have for football. As such, Ghana has produced quality players who have had great recognition worldwide due to their skills in football. An example of such a player is Valued Girl's FC's Former player, Nina Norshie, who took Black Queens to a higher height with her Defensive Mid fielding abilities.
Valued Girls FC has once again groomed and unleashed another quality Defender, Mid Fielder, and a Striking player, Eunice Kpentey.
Eunice Kpentey is a Defender, a striker, and also a Mid - Fielder. She is a professional footballer and has been playing for seven years now from the age of 14. Eunice started her football career at Valued Girls FC and has been on the team to date. She was a colleague to Nina Norshie and engaged in different football competitions together for their mother club.
Eunice Kpentey was born in the Greater Accra Region on 16th December 2001, to Mr. Boinartey Kpentey and Mrs. Gifty Martey of Blessed Family.
She hails from Big Ada in the Volta Region of Ghana and stands at 1.64m. Regarding her educational background, Eunice Kpentey began her basic education at Dodi- Adjade, D.A primary school in 2011, Middle school at Adom preparatory school, and Tapa-Abotoase in 2014, and attained her secondary education at Nana Twumasi Boateng Secondary Technical School.
Some achievements of Eunice Kpentey as a professional footballer, include the following:
1- In 2013, as a member of the Biakoye (zone C ) District team, she helped her Zonal Team, to win the first position in the Under '15' girls soccer competition in the Volta Region.
2- 1n 2013. she won the Goal Queen Medal for scoring 7 goals in the Under '15' girls soccer tournament in the Volta Region.
3- In 2016, She won the First position in the 800m event and Third position in the 200m event for Nana Twumasi Boateng Secondary Technical School during the annual zone 3 Athletics competition.
4- In 2017, she won the goal queen medal with a cash price of Thousand Ghana Cedis for scoring 8 goals in the Third Edition of the GT Bank Super zonal soccer championship.
5- In 2017, she was awarded the Goal Queen for scoring 6 goals in the National Senior High sports festival on Cape coast.
6- In 2017, She had a call up to join Ghana's Under 17 National Team called the Black Princesses.
7- She also had the chance to be part of the team that played the National sports festival at Kumasi.
8- She participated in the Bundesliga football school tournament in 2019.
9- She was given the opportunity to play for one of Nigeria's Premier Team, Edo Queens in Edo state for one season.
10- She also had the chance to play for Berry Ladies FC, a premier team in Ghana for one season, and afterward, returned to her mother club, Valued Girls FC.
Eunice Kpentey being a national asset is still doing her best to get to a greater height in the football fraternity. The goal queen she forever remains as she continues with her Goal scoring ability in Value Girls FC
