Jonina Football Club, a new division one women's football club has gotten tongues wagging with their goal-scoring ability in the ongoing Greater Accra Regional Football League.
Jonina FC as part of the Zone B group has faced all first three tough matches with wins to top the table leading comfortably in the first position. Being a new team has not been a barrier but a great chance to showcase their ability in winning their games.
Jonina FC has disciplined, well-trained, and skillful players. They have displayed their goal-scoring ability and has won the heart of many with their talents. This football club situated in Dawhenya does not only consider their success but the well-being of female footballers who would want to go far in the football fraternity.
Behind every successful football team, is a competent, and professional Coach with great technical know-how. The technical team of Jonina FC works hand in hand with each other to provide a suitable and conducive training environment to equip these girls in building their football Careers.
Considering their first match with Accra Ladyz, Jonina FC won with 5 goals to nill. In their Second game with Great Mawuena, they won with 16 goals to nill and in their third game John Michael’s Ladies which was played at Madina AstroTurf, Jonina FC won with 13 goals to 1.
So far, Jonina FC is leading the group with 9 points, 33 goals. Their next game with Blessed Ladies is scheduled to come off this Saturday at the Madina AstroTurf.
