The Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has emphasized requires the appointment of individuals from the ECOWAS Parliament.
President Akufo-Addo is of the view that it will assist with fortifying vote based system in the sub-district.
At present, individuals from the ECOWAS Parliament are chosen by their home Parliament to address the country.
It has anyway been reprimanded for rearing defilement and preference among MPs.
Talking at the launch of an undeniable level ECOWAS Parliamentary Seminar, on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, President Akufo-Addo added that the appointment of individuals to the august Parliament will likewise give the required independence and soundness it needs.
He along these lines encouraged the House to think about his call.
