The suspended Central Regional Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress, Kwesi Dawood, has been conceded a GH¢ 30,000 bail with two guarantees after he was accused of abetment of wrongdoing, to mind illicit early termination.
He is to return in court on the 27th of October 2021.
As indicated by the investigator, ASP Daniel Gadzo Mensah, Kwesi Dawood, who is the natural dad of the casualty purportedly engaged in sexual relations with her and impregnated her.
Kwesi Dawood along with a clinical specialist purportedly cut short the pregnancy.
The casualty later trusted in the mother, who announced the issue to the Swedru District police.
The case was consequently moved to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) in Cape Coast.
The first and second blamed being the specialist and Kwesi Dawood were along these lines captured and charged for illicit early termination and abetment separately.
Kwesi Dawood anyway argued not blameworthy to the charge at the Cape Coast circuit court one, managed by Her Honor Dorinda Smith Arthur.
