Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Bono Region, Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye DC has said if he were Interior Minister, no member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will get to even buy police recruitment forms much less pass through the first stage of the recruitment.
In an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the NPP Regional Executive said his main priority would have been NPP members who after buying the forms would have to indicate which NPP branch they come from.
There will be a team whose job is to crosscheck from the branch to make sure branch and polling station executives know the applicant before the applicant is passed to the next stage of the selection.
“If I were an interior minister, and I am recruiting into the police, there will be no NDC member in the police service.” He said NDC members cannot be trusted to be patriotic as policemen as they always put their party first.
“When you apply, I will go to the constituency and your area to find out if you are a [true NPP] party person. Then we proceed from there. NDC members will not even find the forms to buy, they shouldn’t even try.”
