Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) will be free at every level for Ghanaians should former President John Mahama be voted back into power in the 2020 polls.
Mr Mahama aside the TVET promise also said he will increase the amount of money given to tertiary students by government as loans and also pay it as a monthly stipend to students.
The NDC flagbearer made the promises during his Facebook Live address Monday.
Mr. Mahama also said “I will reduce the size of ministers, reduce the size of ministries and also reduce the expenditure that Ghanaians spend on the office of the President. Those are the immediate things that I will do,” he said.
On corruption, Mahama said: “I pledge to the people of Ghana that we will listen to them and whatever concerns that they have, if God gives me a second term in office, we will see a more transparent government. We will deal more with the issue of corruption in terms of strengthening the institutions that deal with corruption.”
the purpose of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is to equip people with the technical and professional skills needed for socioeconomic and industrial development of the country.
