The Director of Programmes at the Office of the Vice President, Salam Mustapha, has called on Ghanaians to renew the mandate of the visionary President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the 2020 Presidential Election.
Speaking at a rally after the Annual National Conference held at Trade Fair last Sunday, Salam Mustapha, affectionately known on Social Media as SM, said the 2020 poll is between two personalities: a President with a vision; Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and former president John Mahama, who has just a mission; to merely become President again and enrich his family.
For him, Ghana needs a president with a Vision and not a president with a mission.
He accused John Dramani Mahama of having just a mission to give almost all of our bauxite concessions to his brother. The mission, he insisted, was to fleece the state coffers of Ghana with his gang of pen-robbers.
However, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo he declared, has come to govern Ghana with a VISION. His vision is to develop the country through policies and programmes such as free SHS.
He explained that through the free SHS policy has put over 1.2m of Ghanaian children in school who hitherto would have been at home.
His vision has also seen 100,000 graduates engaged in something productive under NABCO; his vision then again has seen an emerging buoyant economy with strong microeconomic stability.
Salam Mustapha argued that the President’s Planting for food and jobs programme has resulted in abundant harvest across the country.
“1D1F, one village one dam in the north; 1 billion Synohydro for massive infrastructural development in this country are some of the programmes he cited as part of the President’s vision. All of these is why, he concluded, the NPP needs 4More 4Nana to do more. He opened that the NPP has performed better. And with another term it will do more”, he noted
Salam Mustapha who is also former Deputy National Youth Organizer of the party called on supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to proudly trumpet the good works of the visionary President in other to ensure that Ghanaians do not go back to the incompetent leadership of President Mahama where dumsor and corruption were the order of the day.
Other dignitaries such as Sammi Awuku, Kennedy Agyapong, Bernard Antwi Boasiako Wuntumi, Alan Kyeremanten, Dr. Bawumia, President Akufo-Addo and many more mounted the podium to speak to the crowd.
