Players of the senior national team, the Black Stars, are expected to assemble in Accra today towards their preparation for the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
The Stars have started arriving in the country as they look to commence their qualification campaign on a bright note against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Thursday.
Late call-ups
Coach James Kwasi Appiah has been forced to hand late call-ups to players following injuries to Mubarak Wakaso and Harrison Afful who have been ruled out due to injury.
Hearts of Oak’s Fatawu Mohammed will join the team as replacement for Afful.
