Some residents at Kasoa in the Central Region flooded yesterday as a result of heavy downpour thereby carrying cars into gutters, Broadcast Ghana reports
The rain which started in the early hours of yesterday did only affect Kasoa but also residents in some parts of the country notably, Accra.
Broadcast Ghana reporter was a witness at the time flood took control of a taxi coming from Adadae and headed to Kakraba into the gutters. A section of the road on that stretch which was flooded caused traffic. The wave of the water was too strong that those that fear water could not cross to continue their journey.
Another area where a similar incident occurred was at Bambam when heading to Kojo Oku. A Kia car got stuck in the flooded water due to the way water wave eroded the road right the opposite of a half-carried away bridge by the consistent rainwater.
