The Central Regional Police Command is currently on the lookout for one Rashia to assist in investigations following the murder of the chief of Gomoa Akranmang, Nana Egyiri.
Nana Egyiri popularly known as ‘Osibo’ was reportedly murdered in his residence, Monday 9th September 2019.
DSP Irene Serwaa Oppong, Central Regional police command PRO speaking further on the case in an interview on Peace FM morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, said per information gathered so far, the chief was murdered by residents after he reportedly shot Rashia leading to his admission at the hospital.
However, after news broke that the chief was murdered, he absconded from the health facility.
“For now he can be a victim or a suspect and we urge all health facilities to alert the police if an injured person with gunshot wounds comes to their facility” DSP Irene Serwaa Oppong added.
