Majority Leader and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Hon. Kyei Mensah Bonsu has heaped praises on personnel of Ghana Police Service (GPS) particularly the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for ensuring that it sustained investigations leading to the arrest of three suspects and unraveling the mystery behind the whereabouts of the girls.
His comments come after last Monday’s announcement of a DNA test confirming the death of all four kidnapped Takoridi girls in the Western Region.
“Don’t let us bastardize our police, rather we should praise them in this regard”, the lawmaker spoke on Kumasi FM’s morning show hosted by Nana Yaw Mensah Joel monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
According to Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah, Ghanaians should disbelief that security agencies in Ghana did little in attempts to save the three girls hence, all meaning Ghanaians should repose their confidence in the police.
“Our police did very well by liaising with their counterparts in Nigeria in order to rescue the girls”, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah stated.
