Asamoah Gyan's Paradise Pac water bottling company have been unveiled as partners of Ghana Premier League club Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The deal unveiled today at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi grants Gyan's company rights as the mineral water sponsor of the Porcupine Warriors for the next two years.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed but media reports suggests it is worth GH¢10,000 in cash and GH¢3,000 in products monthly.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, an elated Gyan said the deal was the greatest step in the history of his company.
He said: "I am a big fan of Kotoko. I have been supporting this team since day one. Kotoko is one of the biggest clubs in Africa, and partnering with the club is the greatest step as the President of Paradise Pac".
He also assured that he will play for Kotoko before he calls time on his career.
"It is a great honour to be part of this family. Let me say this; before I draw the curtains down on my career, I will wear the red jersey".
In response, Kotoko coach CK Akunnor said he was ever-ready to welcome Gyan in his squad.
"Asamoah Gyan comes with a lot of packages and what he has achieved in his career will cushion the young ones to also do more for the club. I will welcome Asamoah Gyan if he quits international football to join Asante Kotoko, even now".
